Hello everyone
1.gif
I recently purchased an E-ring for my gf and I have to say, it wasn''t easy. Didn''t know a thing about diamonds until I discovered this forum. I definitely got a lot of help from you guys and I think (I hope) I made the right choice.

Well no regrets so far hehehe

As a thank you, I''d like to share the pics of the ring. Enjoy

You did a GOOD JOB!!!

Wow NICE work!!!! What are the stats on that baby??

Very classic and lovely ring, good job! Would love stats and more pics, especially hand shots once you''ve proposed.

Thanks! I happen to pass by this store one day and I asked if I can see some of the stones they have. The salesman showed me like 10 stones, they were all ok but none caught my eye like this one did. I mean it sparkled unlike anything that I have ever seen and it was very white. The other stones were sparkling too but somehow the whiteness of this one just made it so special. The clarity was just a bonus as it can''t be seen by the naked eye. Actually I could have picked a bigger stone with less clarity but my gf made it known to me (in a subtle kind of way

) that she thinks women her age (20s) should go for 1 carat and not bigger. And most of her friends are sporting 1 carat rings so I just went for the best 1 carat stone within my budget. The budget was set after I found out about the price of this D/IF stone (wrong decision hehehe

)

If I had to buy another diamond, I will probably go for D-F, still Excellent Cut of course, but as for clarity, I''ll be happy with VS1 and save some money. It''s just that I already fell in love with this stone and it was very difficult for me to let go
26.gif
More so after I found out how rare it is. I looked around for weeks and I cound''t find more than 5 stones with D/IF, Ex/Ex/Ex.

You are going to make her wait untiL DECEMBER!!!!

for that gorgeous ring?!?!?!?!?!

What a beautiful ring!

The setting is beautiful. Where is it from?

You''ve selected a classic look with a

D color(less) diamond - gorgeous!!! I just love the D-F range! Congrats on finding the stone that spoke to you! Do you have the proposal all planned out?

Very pretty! as a LIW myself I must chime in that since you have the ring NOW, what''s the point of waiting?? Sooner is always better!

Just beautiful! I love the setting!

Gorgeous!

What a find! And waiting until December? OMG, I can never get my hubby something in advance because I get too excited to give it to him. You have a will of iron, LOL!

for that gorgeous ring?!?!?!?!?!
Hahahaha, I was thinking something similar. It''s simply a crime to let a ring that beautiful and perfect sit around collecting dust for months!!

Besides, I''ve heard that the minute you have the ring in your possession, you start to get the itch to give it to her. Go on, give in to it!

Very pretty! Classic choice and a perfect stone at that!

Thanks for the comments

As for the proposal, I haven''t thought of any yet hehehe which is one of the reasons why I''m waiting until Dec...gives me about 4 months to think of one.

And you''re all absolutely right, I''m already finding it very difficult to keep the ring...having this big itch to give it to her already hehehe

Anyway, we''ll see. Will definitely post pics of the ring on her once I drop the big Q.

I''m so glad that you got the stone that really spoke to you! That''s what it''s about, not the paper the stone comes with.

simply stunning, a beautiful and classic setting for a truly special diamond. i love that this stone just captured you, much as i assume your lady did! best wishes to you both, i''ll be checking back in december! ;)

Very beautiful. She will be in love with it I am sure, and while you will have a hard time waiting, you are going to miss it after you give it to her i bet! just like I do!:)

you could always buy a dec. Engagement vacation and propose in october
9.gif
its hard to wait, from a guys perspective. Whatever you do though, make sure you get that puppy insured or its going to be really really hard to wait, lol, what if she never even gets to see it because someone steals it?

Congrats on the amazing ring....and diamond! I have a thing for D/IFs....YUM!
I don''t think you''ll be waiting till December....heheheh!

;-)
