Eenie Meenie Minie Moe . . . . which ring shall I wear?
They are all beautiful; I would just stand there in the morning going "I don''t know; I can''t decide!". I''m far too predictable to have so many choices available; I''d just be scratching my head!
oh wow! you guys are all so super nice! I have seen some real stunners on you guys as well (I do secretly lurk....erm....a lot, I get so excited looking at everyone''s beautiful rings!)
As to my wearing habits....I decide on a set and wear it for a few months (they are all kept in DH''s safe, so it would be kind of a pain to switch between them more often than that...) I have a special place in my heart for the T&Co. classic solitaire as that is the one DH had picked out and proposed with...but my fingers are on the fleshy side (uck! genetics) and the knife edge is thin and sharp and does not look as nice on me....plus at the time I had my heart set on a ring with channel set diamonds on the side, so DH got me one of those and we kept the solitaire for sentimental reasons.....then more recently...I wanted a four-prong setting and one with a wider - flatter band than a knife edge...and now that is what I am wearing currently - I have to say that it is becoming my favorite since it doesn''t make my finger look all squished and I am more into the solitaire and plain band look now.
oh thank you very much again for all the kind comments!
For Vespergirl - here is a quick shot I took of the profile of the four-prong, please excuse the dirtiness of my ring, just came back from some last minute shopping.....
they''re all lovely, but the tiffany 4 prong basket set solitaire takes it for me. i have to say tho....bands are my *real* passion and those lucida wedding bands are gorgeous. i love the 3mm plat ones, and it''s great to see how perfect it looks on a real hand! for me, i''d like the 4.5mm yellow gold lucida band. i would buy one, except that my husband is having 2 gold bands made for me this year (one from our old wedding bands and one from my mothers/grandfather''s wedding bands), so i cant really justify it. one day i''ll say "to hell with justification!" and will just buy it, i''m sure!
Erm, I think my jaw is still on the ground.....what BEAUTIFUL diamonds!!
I''m from Christchurch, New Zealand where we don''t have a Tiffany & Co. store (waaaah), but your first solitaire is something I definitely dream of getting one day
Thanks so much for sharing, I could look at those pics all day!
Righteeoo - I''m off to buy that lottery ticket now tee hee
Oh my - I can''t imagine how I missed this. What a STUNNING, SPECTACULAR collection you have - absolutely beautiful, I love the idea of having several beautiful options so you can change out which ring you wear, and they are all so lovely
