#5 This shows the metallic finish on the pocketfold. You can't see in the picture, but the wax imprint is a flower that matches one of the flowers on the design.
Okay I''m done. I''m sorry these pictures are grainy and not so great - they really don''t do the invitations justice! Thanks for the help, pricescope, and thanks for looking!
The designer - Abbey Mora - sent me a few different drafts until it was just what I wanted. I sort of described an idea, she drew something, I critiqued it, and back and forth, until one day I opened up a file of exactly what I wanted but had never been able to describe myself. I was amazed that she could draw the design AND turn it into a digital image since I am computer illiterate in anything past email, powerpoint, word and message boards. I guess that is what college degrees are for! Her email is [email protected] for anyone in need of a graphic designer. She works for a firm that does branding, but she does all kinds of design work.
bee* - it is fun getting the cards back! I wish they were coming to me instead of my parents! At least my mom gets a kick out of calling me to tell me if she recognizes the names of the people responding. She says my friends must be more on top of things than hers since she doesn''t know most of the names.
Lanie - I am from Houston, and my parents still live in the house I grew up in, but I don''t live there anymore. I live in Corpus. We''re actually getting married in Bryan, but I am in Houston quite frequently to visit friends and family.
