PICK A SETTING FOR ME!!!

I officially can't be trusted picking my own setting so I need help now.

I can't decide between the Vatche Sisley or the WF Legato Sleek Line. The difference in price is about $200 and it setting is going to be for a 1.50ct Jubilee cut from GOG. Which do you prefer?

HEEEEEEEEEEELP. Any opinions you voice are more than welcome. Thank you!

LOL, I feel the SAME WAY, but I''m going to upgrade so I don''t want to go custom on my first setting.

I like them both! I'm a little biased toward the Sleek Line since it's similar to my setting, but that Vatche setting is so cool.

Is it important to you that your wedding band sit flush?

No, it''s not. I want a shared prong eternity for my WB, and I definitely want the option to wear one or the other. So flush is a non-issue.

I picked the Whiteflash setting because I like the idea that the head can be changed, for 2 reasons:
1. You want a larger stone later.
2. You lose or damage a prong or with time need to change the head due to wear.

I actually love the look of the other setting too, but WF seems to be the most practical along with being beautiful. (after reading your earlier post, I think that's the conclusion you came to also)

I like the WF Sleekline because of the assymetry of the head of the Vatche ring. I feel it pulls my attention away from the surprise diamond.

I just saw that pic in the thread prior to looking at this one and was thinking the same thing. Out of the two, I chose the WF. Even though I love surprise diamonds, the Vatche swirly shapes look kinda heavy to me. Really, I like the Ritani much better than both the WF or Vatche.

It is probably just the angle of the pic, but the Vatche setting looks heavy to me. I like the WF or the Ritani. I''ve seen others'' "real life" pics of the WF and I know I like it!

I think the Sisley looks heavy to people because it's a concept picture, not a RL photo. Maybe? There's a girl here who owns the swan and it's very dainty in her pictures. I don't think it's really as chunky as it looks. So far the Sleek Line is the winner though.

I tried to post the same thing yesterday but got an error. Overall I like the WF ring, but I do love that surprise diamond.

I e-mailed WF to see how much a sleek line would be with accent diamonds, hopefully it''s under $1000, then I''ll go with that!!

Love the blingy the best... I take my vote back...(which was the Vatache... I love the surprise diamond and I remember you saying before that you loved it too...) Love the Tacori the most though!


Why is it planning on upgrading? And now that you have picked the blingy beautiful setting, will you still?

I really like them both but I think I like the Vatche a little more. It just seems a little more detailed while still being very classic. I wouldn''t turn either of them down though -- they''re both gorgeous.

I don''t know at this point. I''m sure DSS will rear it''s ugly head at some point, but for now I''m just looking forward to getting the 1st one!!

The jubilee cut is such a stunning stone on it''s own... I vote for a plain cathedral band to really show that stone off!!!
