Hey All!

I've decided on the absolutely stunning 2620 but prefer a smaller, petite diamond.

I've went through dozens of gorgeous pictures of the 2620 but they all seem to 1.5+carat! Beautiful, but not what I (nor my wallet) is looking for at the moment!

I'm most likely going to end up with a GOG AVC between 0.5-0.8ct (that's "eyeclean" with G/H colour). Just want to make sure it will still wow as much as a Tacori setting should.

Anyone with pics of a 2620 with (any cut) diamond below 1ct; I'd greatly appreciate!

Thanks so much!

nice !!!!!

Wow thank you all for your responses!

The 50pt diamond looks perfect! I'm guessing a cushion would have a slightly smaller "face" than a round brilliant? Even so; I adore the "dainty"-ness! It's actually much larger than I expected. :) :appl:

Bumping this old thread! Was doing a search for tacori **** and Daftkow, I was wondering if you went ahead with this purchase and hoping you have pictures if you did? Amazingly what you have described is EXACTLY what I want, tacori 2620 with .5 - .8 AVC, around G/H and probably VS2/SI1 so long as it is eye clean. If you have any photos of this come to life I would love to see!!

I don't have a pic, but I saw one once that was quite small - 0.25-ish ct center RB. And it looked very very nice! I think a smaller AVC will be just fabulous. Call Marie at GOG - she may even have a sample setting that is meant for a smaller center she could lay an AVC into so you can see.

If you do an AVC larger than .50 (like 3/4 ct or larger) it would be okay, but if you want a 1/2-ct in the 2620, I would suggest the AVR instead. They face-up larger than the AVC. I have tried on a 2620 with a .50 RB and it actually was really nice. I also think a .50 2620 without the diamonds on the band looked lovely too.
