Here is the ring itself. I''m not photographer, but I took this outside. The prongs are loose. The gold is scratched. But it''s been worn and cleaned almost every day the past 11 years, so bear with me.

Here is a hand shot. It''s overcast, so probably not the best light.

You may want to ask the moderator to move this to the "Show Me The Ring" forum to get proper admiration.

Your ring is lovely though! What are the stats on it?

GORGEOUS! I second the stat query, and have to ask, out of concern ... are the prongs really loose? Is so, get thee to a jeweler - it''d be a shame to lose that beauty!

Thank you! I posted it here b/c we were discussing the stats in a couple of other threads including one last night. I just wanted to make sure Storm, Lisa, and the others who gave insight were able to see it after seeing it on paper. :-)

Thank you Isabelle!

I am glad you followed up with our topic in addition to providing legal education and moderation

Thanks Guys. Ok, I''ll post the pics on smtr tomorrow if I can. As Lisa noted, I have spent a good bit of time discussing a really interesting thread today, and now I am behind on work and other things. LOL Thanks again for your kind words about the ring. Yes, it needs maintenance, doesn''t it? That''s a priority.

Just to be clear, I wasn''t saying it looks like it needs anything done! I looks great! I only said that because you commented on it at the beginning... just don''t want you thinking I am dissing your beautiful ring!

Oh no, not at all! You are so sweet to say that. I didn''t think that at all. The truth is, it is scratched up and the prongs are loose. You can see that they aren''t sitting straight on the stone even from the pics. :-) LOL

I am really uncomfortable with this.... in most lighting the problem would not be apparent.. do you really want too know when and how too find it? I debated long and hard before I answered in your other thread but you sounded like you wanted too know.
Your ring is very pretty and means a lot too you, my advise is dont worry about it and love it! :}

Get the prongs fixed asap!

It looks beautiful, Isabelle! In fact, it is exactly like my original e-ring. My stone was not ideal either, but I think it is beautiful, too!

Very pretty and ditto to get your prongs fixed.

Hi Storm, YES of course I really want to know, are you kidding? I already know what a $5600 1.15 diamond would buy in 1996 dollars. So, I don''t harbor any illusions about it. What I have noticed is that there are times when I am wearing it and the northwest quadrant might look a little more drab than the rest of the stone which, by and large, always has that sparkly depth and brilliance that you would expect from a RB. It isn''t always. Anyway, yes, I wait with great eagerness to hear what it is that makes it a AGS4. ( I assume the color of H and clarity of grade of SI1 contributes somewhat to the equation as well?) Thanks Storm!

Thanks Mary and Diamond seeker. I will get them fixed, promise! LOL
