Photoshop Help, pretty please?

Hey all,
I do you have a similiar thread over in coloured stones, but was hoping someone could help me with one last request..

I have ordered the same cushion mount as Lauren The Partiers'', but am having trouble deciding what colour metal to get.
I will (hopefully) have it set with a lavender spinel such as the pic below.

If any photoshop whizzes are out there, I would love to see how the set will look with 2 tone, as in white gold halo/head and yellow gold shank..
Also, to add the spinel into the pic, so to get the "whole picture", I would really appreciate it..

The two-tone wasn''t too hard to do, but the spinel looks fake when I try to put it in. LOL Oh well, it''s not the best quality but hopefully it''ll be enough.

Hey Skip, Girly girl was nice enough to photoshop these for me so as I can get an idea - I have another thread over in coloured stones, and the general consensus seems to be white gold would set off the spinel better. But being a YG fan, I did want to see how it would look with 2 tone

This is not my actual stone, I am currently waiting for a cushion to be cut to fit perfect in the mount.

You're welcome AJ. I'm no pro, but hopefully it helps give you a better visual.

I edited it again for Skippy. I don't typically care for yellow gold these days, but I think it does look quite nice in yg. (This is still with the first spinel AJ posted.) Since yellow is opposite purple on the color wheel, it'll really compliment the color of the spinel I think.

P.S. Aww Vizsla, I didn't see the other thread until you made your comment. Don't hang your head, you tried to help and that's what counts! Besides, there is nothing wrong with what you provided, so please don't feel bad.

Awesome GG - I haven''t been able to visualize the YG yet, and you''re correct it does look really pretty - *sheesh* decisions, decisions, lol..

I think because the original stone is pictured at an angle it looks quite transparent. The spinels are both head on shots so they''re a bit brighter and dense, if that makes any sense. Perhaps if we had a spinel shot at the same angle as the tourmaline it wouldn''t look so fake. LOL Ah well, this probably gives a pretty good indication of how it''ll look anyway.

For the record, I love it with both stones.

Yeah I know, I''m slowly finding that these stones are not very easy to come across, so unfortunately they are the only pics I have in the correct colour..

It does give a great idea to me, and I can''t wait to make up my mind so I can share some real photos with you guys !

ha ha, a girl after my own (coloured-gold-loving) heart!

Actually, that little violet one I posted further up will be arriving soon, and hopefully will fit into a RG solitaire I have. At the least, I will be able to see what they look like together.

To be honest, I will most likely end up choosing WG, just because its more versatile if I want to re use the setting in future. But I agree, Rose would look awesome!
