Hi all,
I have my heart set on a certain setting that I can''t find anywhere, and I''m totally useless with photoshop, so would really like to ask for some help at this point!
I am looking at getting a ~1ct PoH or square H&A stone, and love the warmth of a rose gold halo, but can''t afford pink diamonds..
I will post a pic from Knox jewellers of a halo i am considering, although it may have some changes to be a little more elegant, such as Beaudry or Renaissance Platinum style . I would *Love* to be able to see what natural fancy intence yellow diamonds look like in the rose gold halo, as this is for a RHR and really want colour in it.
I''m thinking I will leave the band and pave in WG and white diamonds, just looking to change the halo...I couldn''t find yellow diamonds set with rose gold anywhere, so any of you photoshop experts out there....

If I may, i''ll post another pic, as I''m trying to decide what colour to make the undercarriage of the head - I was thinking just to have the halo rose gold with yellow stones, then the rest of the head yellow gold with white stones, and the shank of course white on white. I don''t know, I think it may look to busy, but perhaps once it has some engraving etc on the halo, it will look more elegant..Also, is it possible to make the centre stone white? sorry if i ask too much! If anyone knows a short photoshop tutorial, I''m willing to learn!

No problem - I love photoshopping stuff, I do it for a living. Pricescope should give me a job doing it!! Haha..

Here''s the ring with a white center diamond.

I''m a little confused about the first part - with white diamonds and yellow gold, but I''m assuming once you get a new picture for me I''ll understand what you mean.

sometimes when I have trouble loading pictures I rename them. Give them a number or something.

Then again - I suppose if the diamond is white, the gold around it would probably be white too...but I'm not sure so here's the image anyway.

...and by the way, I really like your multicolor idea. It really pulls the head apart from the shank and makes the diamond look bigger. Lovely.

Thankyou so much for the compliment, I''m wondering whether it will be too "loud", so i''m glad to have some feedback.

I will post another pic, and try to explain myself better..I am trying to decide between a YG or a RG halo..would you mind to try the halo in YG with yellow stones? i''m glad you love photoshop, as I need plenty of help! It will probably in the vein of simon G or renaissance platinum, with engraving in the halo and (i think) french pave..and yes, the white prongs look much better thankyou!

What do you think though, are the yellow stones with the Rose gold too much? should I go for pink sapphires or something instead?
would love your opinions!

I would Love if you could show me what this bondanza wil look like with a yellow gold shank, With the prongs and the "diamond collar" in white gold.
I have received a quote for this ring from pearlmans, and am ready to pull the trigger, but can''t fnd a pic in yellow gold anywhere, as Bondanza loves his platinum.

Also, if its not too much trouble, I am trying to decide if I should have the shank in yellow or rose gold.

Would it be too much trouble to try this photo with a RG shank (white gold prongs etc as before).
So you can understand what type of rose gold I''m looking for, I''ll post a pic of a Simon G ring afterwards aswell - as you may be able to tell, the Simon G rose gold is not as "pink" as others...I''m not looking for that pink look, more the reddish look.

I hope its not asking too much, You''ll be helping me decide finaly and stop hassling Jason at pearlmans every day!

Hi Mrs, yes I know, sorry if I caused any confusion. The pave halo was my original choice a couple weeks ago, but I have since decided against it (I think I explain that earlier in this thread).
I have definately decided on the Bondanza that is in both this thread and the other one you are referring to..to answer your question, yes, only one PoH involved. Pls scrap the halo image, try to ignore it.
I would get rid of it if i could!
Just need to decide on metal colour for Bondanza now, which is what i was requesting help with

oh, ok got it. thanks for explaining that to me. i'm preggo and so i don't have any morning caffiene to help me wake up, just a little slow catching on here.

i don't have photo shop so i can't help you there. Do you know if pearlmans can get you any pics of the setting made with yellowgold? surely, bondanza or someone might have them?

Unfortunatley, no, Bondanza Loves his platinum , which just isn''t for me. I tracked down 1 pic in yellow, but really want to see rose. I know its not "popular", I just think it will work well for me with this stone and setting choice.
No body has pics of RG, unless its with pink diamonds in it

ok, this ring looks nothing like the bondanza, but you can get an idea of how a rosegold shank looks next to a cushion and how the pave stands out too. don''t know if it will be of any help though. IMO, i think your idea of the rosegold would look lovely.

Mrs, you''re a champ! that ring is beautiful and a great example of the *colour* of rose that I''m after - a more deep gold, rather than a pink..perfect ! I don''t know why its not more popular actually, IMHO...thankyou for looking for me!
