Owning a Maine Coon for 20 years was one of the greatest pleasures of my life. These photos really capture the beauty of the breed.

Gosh I love Main Coons. Gorgeous cats...probably some of my favorite because for the most part they're so damn chill! Unfortunate that my allergy to cat dander is off the charts so having one in the house isn't gonna work for me.

My friend has one that is IN LUV with my dog, loves it when I let her come visit and they run around like... dogs Its cute to watch (especially so considering my dog isn't known for being cat tolerant!)

But this is also a cat that will wear a harness/leash to the beach so go figure....

I'm so sorry about your kitty! I miss my Otis too. He had such a unique personality. We still talk about him all of the time! I will have another Maine Coon someday, when the time is right.

MariaD she's GORGEOUS One thing I found interesting is that you have quite a lot of purebred animals in shelters. She may not have pedigree but she's all Maine Coon.
