Photograph of Diamond shows inclusion reflection

Hello, I received a photograph of the diamond that I am buying and an inclusion that is on the table shows up in the picture as a reflection. He said the reflection itself is not visible. The sales guy told me that even VS inclusions will show up in photo''s at times based on different aspects of the photography.

The diamond is eye-clean, however, he can find the inclusion and I am basing this on the fact that he has a trained eye.

Should I be worried?

I don't think you should be worried if you love the diamond, it looks great! Apparently some inclusions can reflect, but a picture can magnify and do odd things. If you can find the tiny inclusion with difficulty and it isn't very eye visible, it is a handy birthmark which is great for ID purposes. Bear in mind you or anyone else will not be viewing the diamond with a photograph, it will react totally differently during normal wear and viewing conditions. I am sure you will love the diamond when it arrives!

Also, the inscribing on the rock does not indicate H&A which it is supposed to be a H&A while other diamonds are inscribed with H&A followed by a number.

True. The photo is allot larger than the diamond to boot.





Should I be worried?

Not really. Can you se it (with some retunr policy) before the sale becomes final?
What I'd expect is that you may be able to find the bug under a loupe but not otherwise.
