Petite or not to....MWM Torchiere

I''m thinking of getting either a ~6.46 mm or 6.66mm RB stone about 1 ct and I''m having trouble decideing between the petite or regular torchiere. I like the look of substancial bands vs. thin bands but I''m wondering if a 1ct stone would look best in either petite or regular torchiere setting. The petite is about 2.5mm and the regular is 3.0mm. Also do you think the mm difference between 6.66 and 6.46 is significant once it''s in the setting.

I also like the flame but it''s super difficult to choose between the two.

If I were you, I would probably get the petite version. I''ve actually been debating the very same thing recently!! However, it was for the Sunburst. I finally decided that I would get the petite version because I like the look of a thinner band. All of the other bands that I tried on and loved in stores were ~2.5mm, so I figured getting the petite would be best for me. I wish I was able to try both of them on in person and judge which I liked better, but for now, I''m leaning towards the petite. After seeing Wishful''s

, I''m starting to strongly consider getting the Torchiere instead of the Sunburst. Whatever you choose your ring will be absolutely beautiful!!

I had also considered the Flame for some time, however, I like how the Torchiere and Sunburst are set a little higher than the Flame.

I know....I would like a higher set flame w/the knife edge. That would be a great combination. Oh, the possibilities!
