Are there any fellow Perthians interested in a GTG before the silly season truly kicks in? With the weather quickly turning gorgeous, I thought a lunch out somewhere would be nice. It seems that we are accumulating more and more Perth PSers lately - I'd love to put faces to names (and of course see all of the sparklies IRL!). :))

I'll come! I want to see all the sparklies! Just say when and where.

I am game too!! :wavey:

I'll be in Perth in December depending on when you had in mind.....

I've always wanted to visit Perth. A lot of exchange students from Methodist Ladies College studied in my middle and high school. I hope you guys have a great time together :)

Excellent - with at least a few of us keen to meet up, shall we choose a date? Would a Sunday afternoon, lunch or maybe even tea, suit best? Centrally located, or maybe a winery in the Valley? Tea house in the hills?

Have fun, ladies! Those of us exiled to rainy NSW await your tales of fun in the sun... :D

I am coming regardless of where or when!! I neeeeed to see everyone's bling!!!!

Happy to do whatever the majority want. However, if wine is involved ( :Up_to_something: ) transport availability would be good!!

I'd prefer somewhere where the train isn't too far away. A Sunday lunch or high tea somewhere could be nice?

I had high tea at the Pagoda a few months ago and it was really nice...but I don't know much about public transportation. Does the train run anywhere near there?

The Pagoda is not really close to the train, but I am happy to do a pick up and drop off as I live not far away.

Or we could do drinks and tapas at the Raffles? The train is just across the bridge from there.

This is of course for the south train as HOT lives that way. There are plenty of places Leederville way, but I have no idea about the train situ, whether it requires a change of lines etc.

Chel180, when are you here?

There is a train station in Leederville that is walking distance to everything, but I don't have any ideas about where to go sorry.

There's Subiaco?

We can also do the city ~ Hyatt, Pan Pacific, Duxton, C restaurant all do high teas if you want to do that? I'm sure there are plenty of places that would be good to meet for something savoury as well.

I asked around at work today and the overwhelming favorite high tea destination was the Duxton. Is that ok with everyone? Looks to be $35-45, depending if you want Chandon with your tea. :naughty:

Why, of course I do!!!

Sounds fab!! :appl:

high tea sounds lovely. I'll be available to join 10th december onwards, I can always try to catch the next meet up if thats too late for you all though.

The high tea at the duxton is lovely, that's where I had my bridal shower.

So if we go ahead with this, we will need to pick a date soon so we can book as I know it does get booked out in advance.

I can't do the 2nd of Dec (mums bd), but I think the 9th or 16th could work for me.

Shall we try for the 16th then so Chel can come?

16th works for me too. :wavey:

I can do the 16th, but don't expect me to look good...our Christmas work do is the night before at Deville's!

Thats great! Thanks all for delaying the GTG so I can join. I'm looking forward to it already.

I'm not much for bubbles but I'm a big fan of cream cakes! :naughty:

Oh me too! (ha ha hic!)

Justginger, don't worry about the hangover, a hair of the dog will fix you. I don't have a work do this year, as I was made redundant a few weeks ago. Sigh...

Right, it's in my diary for the 16th - who is going to book? Has anyone tried to contact ZL? We must see her huge sparkly! I can email her.

Excellent job reaching out to ZL.

Is anyone in touch with Arjunajane still? I know she's not been on here in a few months now, but I've always wanted to meet her. :))

OOh, have just dropped back in after quite some time away (really don't need any PS induced DSS) and saw this thread!
Am interested in attending...may have to lock my three kids in a cupboard to do so though heheh.

Am pregnant with my fourth baby eeek! There is a bright side: my man -in a moment of weakness, caught up in a 'moment' - said I FINALLY deserved a push present lol.
So needless to say...back on the boards after quite a break! :)

Would be great to meet some local jewellery fanatics :).

So is that it for our GTG? Lara, Chel, Glam, Susi, HOT, and myself. 6 of us. Should I call and make a booking?
