Remember anyone can read these threads.
A good rule is that if you wouldnt tell someone about it at a bus stop across the street from your house dont share it on the net.
Lets be a little more careful.
I dont want to hear about anything happening to my friends here.
what are you referring to Man?Date: 3/8/2006 1:26:58 PM

ha- when I was growing up no one in our neighborhood locked their doors. We used to joke that if a robber came into our house he would actually leave something!Date: 3/8/2006 1:52:18 PM

i agree with being careful about personal info and money, but in discussion of a ROTH IRA...it''s not like that means you''ve got that money laying around or anything, so confused as to how that can be detrimental? it''s not like it''s a discussion of ''do you have a safe in your house and if so describe it to me''.
anyway in our case, if someone decided to come see what we got, we ain''t got much, they could take our new EC.and our rat. i''d be sad about the rat.![]()

thanks for the reminder storm. I often forget there are tons of lurkers out there and I''m not just chatting with my personal friends. Definitely something to just keep in mind..
I don''t think this is a paranoid thread that storm started. He is just trying to look out for our safety on the net. Posting pics of our rings does not tell someone where we live.Date: 3/8/2006 9:41:47 PM

So...... someone might be tempted to rob us if we post our financial info... buuuut.. not if we post our 4 carat diamonds?
I am sick sick sick of internet paranoia
5 carat diamond - $1 000 000, house - $500 000, knowing the difference between them - priceless...Date: 3/8/2006 9:41:47 PM
