Why was it that GOG being closed on Monday was a problem? Will it make you late to order the diamond and setting on Tuesday? GOG ships ultra fast, overnight for the U.S., not sure about international. They don't charge to ship, either.

I don't know much about diamonds at all but maybe have a look...BN has many four prong 18k gold settings too. The above stone is an ideal cut by BN standards (it scored 1.2 in the HCA), is an 0.82, I color, and VS2 (less worry about inclusions)...it does have blue fluor but some people like that in a warmer stone. Just a thought...I don't want to confuse you more or make the decision harder! Also, apologies if this stone is not good, anyone feel free to chime in as I am a novice. Good luck!

Yeah I am stuck for time a bit. He told me that the wiring through the money will take 3 business days then shipping will be 3-5 business days... thats 8 business days max, if I order it on your guys Tuesday, here it is Wednesday... and there isn''t 8 working days before I go. I leave on the 28 June which is Friday for you people.

I love the diamond and am sure it is amazing. The only problem I have is the 14k ring... and the bad pic of it... it looks matt. not shiny and can''t really see it properly... just the direct profict and an angle from above...

Nothing wrong with the BN diamond from what I can see. Medium flour is not an issue, as far as I know. The only thing is that I don't think that the diamond is in house. That means that you are ordering from BN, then they are contacting the cutter (or whoever) and having it sent directly to you. Probably no one at BN has actually seen this diamond. Just a thought. I myself bought a diamond once from BN and it was nice. I have since sold it though in order to get my Jubilee from GOG.

Personally, I vote for the GOG diamond. You won't be sorry. The ring is not matt. You will love what you get. If she doesn't like it, you can always return the diamond and get something else but at least you will meet your deadline. Put up another post and let people vote. There is a way to do a poll, if you want some other opinions.

Jonathan replied telling me that I need to decide fast, unfortunately he is now away till Tuesday. GOG not open Sunday Monday...

In the mean time I am waiting on a response from James Allen for the eye-clean and is it has any black spots as suggested by you guys.

The problem I have with GOG is that they only have a 14c white gold setting and it looks very weird. Its a funny pic... Here are the ring choices:

GOG i think its a better cut and perhaps more shinier but is I colour and with GOG i dont like the ring, maybe coz i cant see it properly.... and its 14k

Just to cover some of the things brought up ...

The Stuller tiffany setting: is one of the highest quality produced and for a setting to get past my QA team of Christen and Marie is not easy.

It is a high polish setting with a soft knife edge.

Being overseas handicaps you to a degree because our cc company (and I believe many in the states) do not insure purchases made over the net with overseas credit cards. They can't verify valid billing addresses plus the fact that you want the package shipped to an address that is not a valid billing address.
Wiring funds from overseas can take a number of days for us to see on this end. At times we've seen wires within 24 hours and sometimes 3 business days. Always best to play safe. That's not just with us but with any net vendor who banks in this country. Shipping to you overseas generally takes 3 business days through FedEx but best to leave yourself with 5 ... again to play safe.

Since time is of the essence for you bad krusty, that is why I emphasized making a decision early this week whether it be for or against us. Just looking out for ya man.

No, I am not mad at you. I just felt like I had given my opinion and I didn't need to say anymore. Like I said before, you won't be sorry if you can make the GOG thing happen. Unfortunately, you have waited a little long to decide, now it might be adversely affecting your ability to buy the best diamond!

Regarding going back and forth about the GOG vs. JA, I had the impression that you were leaning toward the JA because it was larger. I suppose that if you had really wanted that one, you would have purchased it by now. Really and truly, we can't all decide for you. You have to be the one to make the decision. At least you are looking at great vendors so you will be doing better than most people buying from mall jewelry stores.

Just looked up the Finger Sizes equivalent chart we have on our siite and if she''s an M 1/2 (M5?) that is our equivalent of a 6.25 or 6 1/4 ring size.
