Thanks for sharing that article. I'm glad to hear Seoul is banning dog meat - it's definitely a step in the right direction. Ending the dog meat trade will help so many animals. I'm against eating dog meat too - dogs are man's best friend, not food. It always seemed really cruel and unnecessary to me. I wonder if it affects the tourism of South Korea?

I did a quick search but it was not mentioned https://gowithguide.com/blog/seoul-tourism-statistics-2023-the-ultimate-guide-5535 it doesn't seem widely practiced there yet from what I can tell. Banning it early hopefully helps Seoul maintain a good reputation and continue attracting more visitors (especially when there are dog lover tourists). Progress happens gradually through opens like this.
