Anyone else planning to wear pearls on Monday?

I’ve always associated Queen Elizabeth with pearls and plan to wear pearls on Monday to honour her memory. Maybe not a 3 strand as it feels a bit too formal for my casual office but I’ll have a look at my wardrobe again tonight. At minimum, pearl studs…

an actually planning on wearing my faux pearl choker tomorrow at work
i brought it in 1989 and even though its faux i still love it so its due an outting
will wear mum's pearl studs - first time for earrings since we started wearing masks at work for covid
 
I work from home, and have set my OOO to say Monday is a public holiday in UK, and am planning to watch the funeral on TV.

Yes to some pearls, depending on the top I would be wearing.

Most likely to be a monochrome Hawaiian shirt with my mis-match pearl drops from Takahashi.

Still practicing. Honestly, I've never worn these pearls this much. Tomorrow is the real deal.
(The shadow makes me look like I have cleavage. I do not LOL)

no pictures yet- im just too tiered to fight with the new phone which is still in its box

so i found the faux pearl choker
first place i looked too

it has 5 strands of seed' pearls' on 'gold' wire with a big 'pearl' in 'gold' set into the middle, with an open back
its kind of a bit tighter/ snug than i remember ...
it might just be faux but i dotn want to loose it
it is quite formal looking
we wear black short sleeved shirts at work and long black aprons
 
My pearls are in another state so I won’t be able to wear them on Monday..We get home on Tuesday. :cry:

my ears are quite sore but i still have mum's earrings in

i wore my faux choker today at work
my apron strings kind of hid the fact my neck is bigger than it was 33 years ago

now im home in front of the telly
got mum's pearls on and also her pearl silver bangle dad gave her for their 25th anniversary
i must rememebr to find one of grandma's brooches for next monday

Thank you @Daisys and Diamonds..I may have to sleep in my pearls. I have to figure out the time difference..but I will be wearing them! ❤️
 
Just earrings for me though
Working with preschoolers, I'd never take a chance and wear my mom's strand of pearls
 
i knew mum's pearls needed restringing
they needed restringing before i inherited them
so its ok, thats why i didnt wear them to work =)2
