Here is a pic... Prongs look chunkier (?) now, but more symmetrical and it looks like they also slightly adjusted the way the stone has been set (table / arrows are more aligned). Also, is it me or does the stone look a little dirty?

Otherwise, my husband said "that''s your ring?! It looks like an ad."

please let us know when you get it next week. no real update on my ring..they still have 2 more weeks according to the time frame they quoted Bill. He did email me yesterday to see if i'd had the baby though and said the ring should be done soon.

personally, I think your ring looks amazing and i'm with your hubby, MB should start using that picture as a advertisment. That is just unbelievable...that ring and setting still makes my heart go pitter patter everytime I see it. it's probably they only setting that *almost* causes me to second guess my upgrade

Thanks mrssalvo, you''re always too sweet! I forgot about it for a while...but am getting excited again since I will have it in my hands very soon.

I will definitely post new pics once I get it... I still haven''t figured out the macro setting on our current camera, so hopefully the pictures will come out decent.

I do have to admit that the side profile looks amazing (and the stone looks pretty big in that view). And I''m sure I''ll be blown away when I see it in person. The prongs / setting are SO much more delicate in person, I''m not too worried about them looking "chunky" in the magnified pic. Besides, I looked up demelza''s crown lace pics and her prongs pretty much look identical except for the micropave.

*BTW, you won''t be second-guessing your upgrade once you have your *amazing* Daniel K in your hands, re-made and sized just right for you. 2 weeks will pass by quickly...when is your actual due date? I''m so excited for you! My little boy is now 10.5 months -- they grow up so fast!

i haven''t ordered the wedding band yet but plan to. i had to pay for the remake, not the full price of a whole new setting, but still quite a bit, so i''m rebuilding the wedding band fund. i hope to be order it pretty soon though b/c i know i won''t like wearing just one ring.

mrssalvo - when I ordered my Ritani, I didn''t order the w-band...and eventually decided that I wasn''t going to order one since I knew that I would be upgrading at some point in the not-too-distant future. Anyway, I got used to wearing it alone. Hopefully you won''t have to wait too long for the matching band...but you''ll see...with that humongous cushion halo on your finger, you won''t even miss the 2nd band.

That being said, this time with the MB, I ordered the matching band at the same time...not sure that I''m going to wear both at the same time all the time, but at least I''ll have the option. I''m still not sure about the 3-sided rubbing, and the long term effects (although Pearlmans says it''s okay). Maybe I''ll just wear both on special occasions...regardless, with the 2 MB rings and my Ritani, I like that I''ll have multiple options!

I tried so many Michael B rings on at Zadocks, his wife I think was getting sick of me.
She was there for the trunk showing. I don''t dare show my face in there again. I used to go in often and this one SA waited on me all the time. He probably thought I was either confused as heck or some poor ole'' lady lusting after diamonds.

Where did you try on your Michael B? I''ve been in every major jewelry store here in Houston, quite often! I love Donoho''s for the selection, but not their customer service.

Kudos to Pearlman''s for their outstanding service. Can''t wait for the finger shots.

bebe - I''ve been to Zadoks a couple of times... It is where I was able to closely examine the MB setting I ordered. I also went to Nazar''s once, but didn''t have much time to look at anything cuz I had to pick up my daughter (happened to be running errands in that area). The SA at Nazar''s didn''t really know what she was showing me. I knew *way* more about the MB line than she did.
