Pear-shaped Ceylon Sapphire help

Hi there
I have been looking high and low for a pear-shaped Ceylon sapphire for an engagement ring. Looking for something around 9x6mm and I like the real cornflower colour, not too dark or royal blue.
Unfortunately one that I got directly from SL has a huge window and is not right
I'm based in Australia but am happy to look at suppliers overseas if needed.
Max price probably $2.5K (but not sure if this is realistic!)
Your help would be SO appreciated!

What about these 2? Does anyone have any views about these 2 vendors?

Both sapphires look rather dull.
The one from AfricaGems looks much nicer.

Sapphire pears often have areas of extinction towards the point, sometimes this dark area can take up half the face area of the stone. Lighter sapphires usually show this less than the more desirable colors. The good news is with your budget you are likely looking at a lighter color stone.

The etsy stone you linked has the dark area at the point, and also a bow tie. This would be a good example of what to avoid if possible.

Here is a video of the Africa Gems one suggested above. To me the colour looks totally different in the video compared to the photo! What do you guys think?

I can’t really send the one I have back because my partners dad bought it for us while he was in Sri Lanka.
