Pear shape diamond - Is this a good one?

Hi all,

I''m new to this site! I''m from Ireland and i''m heading over to NYC with a view to ''buying'' an engagement ring although we''re quite nervous about the haggling and being bamboozled!

The type i''m looking for is between .80 and 1.00ct Pear shape with a vg cut, budget $4000.

I found this ring on Pricescope, with regards the depth etc would this be a good ring to go for?

0.86 E VS1 58.7% 59% GIA t-tkf no vg gd 7.94-5.55x3.26

I know fancy cuts are measured differently so i''m not sure.

HELP!! Who should i go to see when in NYC for an excellent and trustworthy service?

One can''t say more than this diamond is potentially a nice one. It might not be a great looking diamond. You''ll need to see it to know if you like it and you''ll have to compare it to others to know if it is a best choice.
