I saw a few stones today in a jeweler for some decent prices (dollars are in Canadian)

1) .75, F, I1, Very Good Cut (7.80x4.99x3.12) - $1999.00 + tax
2) .71, E, Si2, Very Good Cut (7.44x5.07x3.02) - $2890 + tax
3) .90, F, Si2, Very Good Cut (7.89x5.25x3.45) - $3600 + tax

All the above were completely eyeclean even when viewed with the loupe...I know with pears it is difficult to judge in numbers alone but all of these were very sparkly (i took them outside the store under more natural light)

For me colour and cut are more important then clarity (as long as I can''t see it...its not there ;))

I have done some online research ( I called Whiteflash but no one returned my call), Bluenile doesn''t show the pictures of actual stones and are a little expensive for their pears.

Do you guys think these are good prices?

In using the Pricescope your diamond tool (at the top of the browser), it looks like all those prices are high. You may want to contact whiteflash again. Their quarter carat SI/I range from about $1000. Plus, they can look at them for you. I have a pear myself, and you just have to see them up close. Also, with that low of clarity (which I''m with you on!!) make sure you check the stone from the side and also tipping it back and forth. I''m sure Whiteflash would accomodate this request.

Good Luck!
