Pear & Heart wearers: Have you noticed this?

If I wear pear and heart shapes with the point towards me, I see more fire in the stone than if I wear it with the point facing away from me. Do you see this with your pears and hearts, or is it just my wonky eyesight?

Ooh I never thought of that with my heart, but I wear it with the point towards me because otherwise I think it looks upside down ... so maybe it does? Hmmm interesting

I must experiment. I just need some diamonds. Seriously though, I had a sim ruby heart ring in high school, and I absolutely loved it. I wish I could recreate it with the real thing. Or a heart diamond, that would be grand.
