PBS special on Diamonds...catch it if you can!

I watched a most fascinating program on diamonds on PBS. It was part of NATURE-Diamonds.

The program was described as:

A primer on diamonds includes their formation; trading and marketing; intricacies of cutting, polishing and determining value; mining operations; the mystery of pink diamonds; histories of individual gems; how the world''s largest mine was discovered.

They focused on Australia and the elusive Red Pink that has shocked the world over of its existence. If you have an hour you may find it well spent. They show you some incredible paperweights...and pieces I will never get close to in my lifetime. I learned many things about the industry and the desire...for more. Hope you too enjoy it!!
