Ok..so I finally have a diamond that I like...but it won''t fit in my setting...EeeeK!
I''m feeling a little lost here!
I can''t seem to find what I like and I''m worried about doing a custom ring. I''m trying to decide what to do..whether it be getting a bigger custom Coast Diamond Halo ring to accomodate my 0.91c VS1 F diamond or pick a new setting from JamesAllen and ship the diamond (if possible) back to them to have them set it. I had never liked solitaires and I''m still a little worried about them because I''m afraid they make my diamond look too small, but I really like the 18K WG French cut Pave setting James Allen has (1st picture below). But I also like the Danhov setting with the halo pave (looks french cut as well?)--see second picture. However, the Danhov setting notes that center stones can be from 1c-5c...will my stone be too small? Not too mention its over $1k over the other one...anyways...any opinions on which you like best? I''m open to new styles as well...really love pave Halos that have center stone prong set (no bezels). Please help!!! One other thing for those of you who bought your e-ring online..what do you do for cleaning, polishing, and re-plating? Find a local jeweler?
