We get them coming through one of our labs frequntly on their way to chain retail stores. The diamonds are cast in place and then the setting work is touched up by hand after casting. The look is okay, not close to fine work like the real hand cut pave' of years past, but the diurability is going to be quite good overall since the stones tend to be deeply set. Once in a while a group of less well set items is seen. These may have problems during sizing and also suffer premature wear. Most of what we see is going to work pretty well.
