I''m getting Married on May 2 and I just can''t decide on a wedding band. I try them on in stores and find one I like then order one online and there''s always something I don''t like about them.

First I got a shared prong band and I didn''t like how it didn''t sit flush and how high the setting stuck up compared to my e ring which is a 1 carat tiffany style solitaire.

Then I ordered a 3mm palladium high polish band, which is very pretty, but I think I want something a little more sparkly

Anyway I''m looking at pave bands now. Here''s my understanding that pave bands sit lower than shared prong. So I''m hoping it would fit good with my e ring. Those of you with pave bands can you tell me if you''ve had problems losing stones.

Thanks so much

A quote from mrssalvo:

There are different qualities of pave, some is made and crafted better than others and therefore more durable. If you're buying from a reputable designer or custom craftman's you shouldn't have major problems but like tacori said, it is possible that a stone will pop out. prices vary some warranty the rings for life and will replace at no charge, others might chage a fee, the stone's are not expensive and from what I've read others say they paid here to replace a lost melee stone it's about $20.
The quality of the ring has a lot to do with losing stones. The better made the ring, the less of a problem it is. From looking through the forum it seems quite a few people have lost quite a few stones, but there are also folks who have had a pave for years without a problem.

Channel set might be an option if you're worried about losing stones. I just don't know how low a channel set ring would sit. I'm sure another PS'er can advise.
