Patty Duke is dead

Former child star Patty Duke has died at the age of 69.

Duke’s manager confirmed her death to The Huffington Post in a statement.

Anna “Patty Duke” Pearce passed away this morning March 29, 2016 at 1:20 am. Her cause of death was sepsis from a ruptured intestine. She was a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a friend, a mental health advocate and a cultural icon. She will be greatly missed.

When I was in elementary school, they used to play the Patty Duke show on re-run on Nickelodeon, and I that show! My mom would walk by and sniff, "that's OLD, I used to watch that" hahahahah nothing wrong with an oldie but goodie!

How sad. I loved "The Patty Duke Show" when I was growing up. And, of course, "The Miracle Worker."
