I want to get a palladium band for my fiance, can anyone suggest a good place to start?

thanks so much!

Try Excel Diamonds

Most, if not all of their rings are available in palladium.

Whiteflash did mine. It wasn't listed as a possibility but I just asked and they said "of course!"

I love my palladium, BTW. It was a perfect option

Thanks So much for your suggestions. I will start at those 2 places. It''s hard sometimes because it seems like every site has postive feedback and who knows whos writing them. I LOVE palladium, it''s strong and as bright.

Renae, does your scratch at all? Do you have a pic?

Hi treelight!

My rings are palladium. One is from Scott Kay, the other from Whiteflash. I also have a palladium band from danforthdiamond.com.

Things I love:

It's light. It's bright. It's shiny.

Things I don't like:

It scratches. And they can't be polished out as easily as platinum or white gold. Little ones are no problem, but I've got a relatively big chunk that can't be polished out.

I'd suggest palladium for rings with a lot of detail or sidestones, but not necessarily for a plain polished band. My wedding ring is a bezel set diamond band, and I have to look reeeally hard to see any scratches. My solitaire. Well, they're much more obvious.

Just something to consider.

ETA: Any ring is going to scratch, I just seem to notice it more with the palladium.

Thank you so much geckodani!!! Thank you for the pros and cons, it was really helpful. Definitely something to consider when getting getting my mans ring since it will be simple. Maybe i will go with platinum for him then. And i will stick with the palladium since my will be intricate.

Is there a specific style you''re looking for? Or have you already found it?

have not found it, he wants something not too thick and now roundish

Danforth Diamond. Their customer service is amazing. I have called and emailed a billion times and they have been so helpful. I am getting my rings in Palladium, but my fiance''s in Tungsten as he is military :)
