I''ve got to wonder, is THIS the calibre of staff she and McCain will have around them? Is everything going to be in such a casual state of disarray that just anyone can call the Whitehouse??

I mean for God''s sake, doesn''t the person manning the phones have CALLER ID, just for a start? It sounds like darn near anyone could call her. Am I the only one who thinks this is bizarre, that a call like this could have made it through? So much for McCain''s ''security''...

Karen, I thought the exact same thing. how in the world did the prank caller even get through to her

That''s what they were saying on Irish radio all day too. It''s baffling that they got through to her.

So much for getting a "spontaneous" call - they had ample time to screen and still did not do it??? Gasp.

"McCain advisers were also upset with the Alaska governor for setting up what she thought was a call from French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The call, which turned out to be a prank from Quebec radio hosts, was not cleared with the McCain campaign and some saw the effort to set it up as evidence of her future presidential ambitions. A Palin ally involved in setting up the call, however, suggests McCain advisers had ample time to object given the call was on her schedule for three days"

Lol, they must have meant to say "a Palin frenemy!" So pathetic.

My hard core Republican friend voted red for everyone else except for the presidential vote. That says it all for me!
