I'm currently painting my kitchen a teal colour, nice and bright , but I feel it may be a bit too much to paint my whole kitchen teal. What other colour would go with teal as was thinking of painting some walls a different colour if that makes sense lol.

I think it depends on your kitchen. How big is it? Is it open? I once had a room that was teal, similar to that, with wainscoting half way up the walls. It worked okay because of the white. It was a small room though, and without the break in color, would have been overpowering to me.

What color are the cabinets, counters and floors?

I don't know if this is too wild, but the first thought that came to my head was a lime green/sunny yellow.

Wow i love it !
I really really love it

How about some mid blue accents
i was watching a tv show the other day - wish i could remember what it was ? but i it looked set in mid century era and they had teal walls with blue trim

I immediately thought of white and coral or white and black to go with that teal. What colour is your cabinetry?

I'll take a pic shortly after work , but please excuse the mess, lol....

I love teal. I think white would be a fresh accompaniment. I also like coral with teal but it depends on your overall color scheme. Cabinets, floors, counters.

Ok, took some pics of what’s been painted so far, sorry about the kitchen, bit of a riot just now due to painting, blinds been rolled right up and my big kitchen clock is down etc. Not sure if it’s too much, the colour. I’ve still got 2 walls to paint but not sure if I paint them , would it be too much?BC58F856-56D1-4FE7-BA33-B72E9985BE15.jpeg72725D94-776F-46CD-99FA-CA1AF420F880.jpeg9D102A30-B7D1-4D5C-B334-77B3BA6FA1FD.jpeg3149A383-4552-4A05-98F4-3EDEEE3C79DB.jpeg

I would love the teal with white trim and white blinds and white accessories. But of course it's what makes you swoon and that might not be the color scheme. My vote however remains teal and white. Though the yellow looks pretty too. I would probably still do white blinds to match your trim.

A mid century pattern
Im doing a small roller blind for the back door in the kitchen and i got pinnaple drape fabric !

Looks great, I like strong colours and would combine with an off white (there are so many whites to choose from but I lean towards a softer white so it's not too cold/clinical). I'd also go with white blinds or mostly white with a bold pattern to break things up (and possibly add an extra colour). Keep up the good work!

What a pretty color! I think it’s not too much to continue with it. I agree a white blind or even a bold print/pattern but keep it simple and clean still, nothing too busy, IMO. I love that the chandelier in the entry already matches the cat.

@Vonniexx I can see a dove grey going with the teal. If you like mid century pattern check out orla kiely designs. Looks great by the way!

This. Or a roman shade in a sheer-ish white.

I personally don't like blinds though.
