I just got the Durnell in the mail.

OH I''M SO SORRY. I can''t get pictures until Sunday night/Monday morning because my FH took the camera on his stag fishing trip!!!

I feel TERRIBLE because I know you''re waiting, but I didn''t realize he''d taken it until he had already left.

I can try to use the camera at work tomorrow, but I have a feeling the pictures will suck.

I''ll attempt anyway and if that doesn''t work out I will definitely definitely definitely take a zillion pictures when FH is back. I promise! Don''t hurt me.

Awwww!!! I reeeeeeally want to see it!!! What are your impressions of the design and the workman(woman)ship?

The design is flawless. The prongs are incredible. The only thing that irks me is one of the diamonds in the crown is set a little unevenly in the bezel. But I''m a weird perfectionist, I''m sure it''s not really that big of a deal. I wish I had pictures now so you guys could see! It is a GORGOUS setting, it''s just not the right one for me, I don''t think.

It also has cute little diamonds on either side of the bottom of the band to keep the ring from spinning. I really love the design, but it didn''t give me that tummy flip feeling. I put it away until tomorrow so I can get a fresh look at it tomorrow when I bring it to work to see if I can get the company camera to work well enough to get you guys some photos. It''s so pretty! I''m thinking I might get a Durnell, just not this one. I really want to see any new designs they come out with in the next few months.

Erg!! I wish FH hadn''t taken the camera on his trip!!!!

Nebe! Sorry it took me so long to chime in! I didn''t see this thread!

I still don''t have any more information on my setting, but mrssalvo was right in that it looks very similar to a daniel K rosebud. I don''t know where he got it/had it made, but that diamond scassi one is similar for sure.

But it sounds like you love the Durnell one that just came in!!! And now that I found this thread, I too am WAITING FOR PICS
