I noticed she hasn''t been on for a while, but still wanted to know how the decorating process is going. Anyone know what she''s been up to these days?

seriously, has it been that long that i''ve been mia? i guess so! so sorry, i''ve been crazy busy!! the decorating is SLOW. if at all. ha. let''s see.... i''m hating our house colors. yeh, hubby''s not too happy about that! it''s not all the colors, it''s just the dark brown in the living room/kitchen/dining room/bedroom. i don''t mind it in the kitchen and dining room but i really want to repaint the other too rooms.

we finished up a guest bedroom- well we need drapes and artwork on the walls, but it''s done other than that. and the latest thing in decor is that we were gifted some really old awesome heirloom frames. they are sorta a pair and hold 16x20 pics. not sure what i''m going to put in them just yet... maybe mirrors and hang them above our buffet in the dining room.

There she is! It seems like you get away from all the neutral colors - have you thougt of painting your bedroom a light blue or your living room a yellow - nothing too drastic of course. We are moving to a new condo and I''m trying to get some ideas on what colors to paint the rooms. What color is your guest room?

those are precisely the colors that i was thinking of doing - pale creamy yellow in the living and light slate type blue in master bedroom.
both the guest bedrooms are the same color. i think i have pics/paint info in the other thread.

but then i run across pale greys like in this blog http://brooklynlimestone.blogspot.com/ and i totally question everything all over again!

oooh - love the grey (great website BTW) - any punch of color would look very striking against it. Blue is nice for a bedroom since it''s a calming color. Pale yellow would be perfect for a living room since it''s "homey" IMO. Good luck - keep us posted. I''ll do the same once we move this summer - I may need some opinons!
