5.4 ish square asscher. 4.5 finger. PERFECT for my asscher. Okay so my finger is a 5.5 (with a slim band like that 1.6 mm) but my asscher is 5.89 x 5.86 so.... looks like a match.

Now I've just got to get a qoute from Ari at Singlestone. Ring was made in 2005 so I'm sure the pricing is way out of date!

Sorry about the misspell, I always thought it was Heist for some reason. Like Diamond Heist....SORRY!

But I do have a question. There is the bezel. Then the airline. Then the halo. Are there any diamonds in that halo? It almost looks like there are skinny baguettes in there.

Nope, it''s all actually all metal. This is a fuzzy picture, but without the light hitting it you can see the "channel" in the halo better.

Still it''s lovely. And I''m betting it *could* have pave added to that outer bezel. Just a wee bit?

I like it as it is. I believe in reality, the channel is VERY thin, and the milgrain adds the sparkliness. Adding pave to the channel will make the ring look out of proportion, and might take away the delicate look.

OMG, I love this setting! It''s awesome! You could add pave to the space where the airline is and just not have an airline. Although I do like that airline. I''m sure it would look good both ways!

Hest, I agree, the proportions would be off. It is a lovely setting (and no I''m not looking for that Daniel K). It''s a lovely setting, your sister has AMAZING taste and vision. Thanks, Layla

Scene: 3am, Shreve & Co., corner of Post and Grant, downtown San Francisco.

Hest88, Mara, and Remington Steele pull up in black car, headlights off. Hest and Mr. Steele quietly break in through vault and make off with a carton of Mikimoto pearls, $2 million worth of antique jewelry, $4 million of ruby and sapphire jewelry, a bag of Hearts on Fire loose diamonds, and a couple of A. Lange & Sohne watches as souvenirs. Mara, meanwhile, drums her fingers impatiently and wonders if she should hit Gumps while she waits.

3:30am, Hest and Mr. Steele emerge. Mara hisses, "It''s about time!" and turns the car toward the Bay. When they get to the dock, Hest jumps out, knocks Mara and Mr. Steele unconscious by whapping them both in quick succession with the bag of Hearts on Fire diamonds, grabs the loot, and makes off for the getaway boat. Halfway up the dock, she thinks better, runs back and grabs Mr. Steele by his shirt, and drags him onto the boat as well. When Mara comes to, she curses Pricescope and everything related to Hest and heads back home, only to find that when Hest''s boat swung down toward the South Bay they made another quick stop to snatch Mara''s adorable dog as well.

Two months later, Mara receives a postcard with a cryptic note: "Pavillion angles matter less under the Tahitian sun. Woof!"
