Elle, I remember you saying in my cell phone thread that your Moment had battery issues from day one, and there was a quick fix for that. Do you remember how you fixed it? DH got the Moment, and he loves it except for the short battery life. Thanks in advance!

HA! Yes... battery life was an issue on day 1 & 2!

I found the *fix* on a smartphone forum, and it worked perfectly for me.

I had to completely drain the battery so that the phone would not even turn on, then charge via computer using USB (Not sure if this is necessary, but thats what the directions say - use USB, so I did that) to a full charge. After a full charge, take out the charger plug. Then plug it back in. It will say "charging" again and probably charge for up to another hour. Once its "topped off" you''re done. Do this 2 nights in a row.

After I did this, I was fine! I have very normal battery life for a phone of this type now.

I also make sure to turn off bluetooth/wifi if I''m not using it!

My hubby had the same problem with his. He said that the battery wasn''t actually running low- the meter was just off. I think he updated his phone or something and it doesn''t do that anymore.

Apparently what I did "resets" that? Thats what the forum said anyway.
