Elle_chris, I''ve been in love with the Sholdt semi-bezel setting from the moment I first saw it.

Do you still love it? Anything you''d wish that was different? Easy too wear and easy to clean? I could go with a similar custom design with modifications if there are things that really bother you with the Sholdt design. Please share!!

I still love the ring but yes, there are two things that bother me.

For thing, I can't wear it with anything but a plain or chanel set band as it's so open, any diamonds in a shared prong or pave, would rub against the stone. That's somthing to consider if want a diamond wedding band.

Another thing is the cleaning. Since the stone is enclosed on the sides and bottom, you can't clean that part of the diamond. I use my Ultra Sonic weekly and it does come out looking great but I wonder would it be better if I could get to the whole thing.

All that said, if I could choose again, I'd still get this Sholdt in a heartbeat
