Yoo hoooooo! BlackIsland! Question about your setting.

I''m considering a setting in that same "family" of Tacori designs that you have. (The one in question has baguettes instead of RBs beside the halo.) I was wondering if you happened to see that setting when you were shopping for your drop-dead gorgeous one. I''ve only seen the setting I''m considering online, so I''d love to know opinions of how it looks in real life if you''ve seen it.

Kathy, I am so sorry I didn''t see your yoohoo before today.

Your question was if I saw the halo ring with baguettes instead of RB''s when I sat with the salesman. Yes, I did! I looked at and tried on about 100 rings that day and managed to narrow it down to just a few. My personal taste is for the plain rather than the fancy, so I pretty well stick with RB whenever I have the opportunity to get diamonds. But I did really like the ones I tried with baguettes on the side. They are really elegant looking. Maybe that is what stopped me from getting one like that - I just didnt'' feel that my hand and size of ring (7.5) could carry off something so elegant.

The particular line that I chose my ring from is called the "Lisa" grouping and is not yet available to see online. Apparently it is just new for fall 2007 and should we should be able to see them all soon. I keep checking the Tacori site, but all the new ones are not up yet. I checked out all the styles that you originally posted and I have to tell you that anyone of them is fabulous! I am not sure if you have decided on something, but since your taste runs similar to mine, I would love to see what you decided on.

I appreciate the feedback on the Lisa line of Tacori. After a last-minute debate over going with the one with epaulette (is that right??) side stones, I''ve decided to pull the proverbial trigger and get the one with baguettes. Crossing fingers that I love it. So hard to decide!!

Thanks again for your insight. I''ll post pictures once the ring is done--which will be in, like, six weeks!
