Hi Bee! I sure hope you see this. I saw a post of yours when sarap linked a girl to delster''s erring from two summers ago; saw that you last posted on PS yesterday. I was so glad to see that! How''s your Lucida ring? You know, I''m heading over to Tiffany in NY in the next week or so and I plan on trying on a 2 carat lucida if they have it. I''m so excited I can''t wait. In the meantime I''ve gotten completely taken in by ps again. But I have been havIng an inordinate number of disagreements over tiffany quality. I think whenever someone disagrees with me about Tiff, I should just post a picture of your ring is response.

Hi Isabelle! thanks for the lovely comments on my lucida! I still have it and love it more than ever. How exciting that you''re trying on a 2 ct!! I''ve had no complaints with my tiffany ring and will be getting the eternity ring to match in a few years so I''ll definitely purchase from there again!

Just remembered to say that you should email them before your trip and they''ll order in some lucidas in the size that you''re looking for. I did that before my trip so we had a great selection of rings to try on.

Oh that''s a good idea Bee! I''m still trying to figure out how serious I am, I''m very attached to my original ering especially after Brian Gavin recur it. But I suffer from major DSS. LOL, I will definitely keep you posted once we hit the store if anything exciting transpires. So glad you saw my post and I''m glad you''re still around ps!

Hi Bee*! Well I spent two days in the Fifth Ave. store. It was amazing. I really enjoyed trying on all the different rings but I kept going back to the Lucida. I found out that they are introducing a pave split shank later this year! They said it should be very very pretty and in high demand. They were joking that they expect a lot of current Lucida owners to come in for re-sets! I am anxious to see it. But I still really love the original: square cut Lucida in the original setting.

That sounds fab trying on all the rings!! Can't wait to see pics of the new pave shank ring-when is it coming in? I do adore my original one though so won't change. I just really want to get the eternity band to match and then my set is complete! So are you still thinking of getting one?

Hi Bee*! Sorry I'm so late in responding. I got caught with work. Hope you see this. I've acutally now seen a picture of the split shank. The ring is nice but it makes the diamond look almost exactly like a princess cut. The "wide proud corners" don't look wide and proud anymore. I'd stick with the original lucida. The new setting should be out either by this Fall or Spring 2011. Anyone who gets one will be sure to get compliments on their "princess" diamond, which if I were a Lucida owner,I wouldn't want. Yes I'm still really thinking about getting one. I really love the original Lucida. It's gorgeous! Thankyou so much for your post back and I apologize again for my delay in writing back. Let me know if you see this.

Thanks Bee! I am definitely thinking about getting it. But for sure I will get the original shank unless the split shank looks a lot different in real life than in the picture. It's amazing how that setting changes the diamond's appearance. It looks like a princess not a Lucida. Maybe it was the picture.

Hi Bee*! I posted a link to a photo of the new Lucida split shank in SMTR earlier today. If you're curious to see it, head over and take a look. I saw it on the Australian version of the knot.com. It looked more like a Lucida in this photo. The earlier photo, it looked like a princess cut. I'm interested to see it In person, though I understand the wait could be a few months. Let me know what you think. I think I still prefer the original.

Me too. But the criss cross of the original setting is my preference.
