Thank you so much Zoe, Erica, Jcar, April, and rainwood for the well wishes. Negotiations are going very smoothly and it is without a doubt that I am going to eventually accept the offer. Although, I should negotiate for a much higher salary knowing that I might be in the same area as Erica's and LittleGreyKitten's shops.
Jcarley, as soon as I have time to get there and settle in, I would love, love, love to go to a PNW GTG.
TooPatient and SanDiegoLady, I agree that following this story is just horrific. My heart also goes out to all the officer's family and friends. I letting it color my perception of the area, because it is so clearly a premeditated, hate-driven, and revolting act, but it doesn't make it any less shocking or tragic.
