How do you deal with general maintenance of your rings? (cleaning/polishing etc.)

As I understand it, using local jewelers will void the warranty? If you do send it back, how often?

Thanks.

Only got the setting from them or the stone too. How long is the warranty in either case with them. Thanks.

Hi

I am a proud Victor Canera Emilya halo and matching eternity ring, owner. I have had my halo for just over two years. I intend to send them back to Victor, from Australia, probably next year for a service.
I would not let anyone other than Victor touch them. They are most precious pieces of jewellery besides my original wedding band.

Still adore them.

I own a gorgeous Victor Canera Sophia. I will have it serviced locally as I run the risk of having to pay thousands of euro's tax on my 5.3 ct diamond when it is shipped back :errrr:

Just going by the info on their websites, VC and LM provide lifetime warranty although they each have their conditions and limitations. SK provides a 1 year warranty but then states that it "warrantees all merchandise against defects in manufacturing and workmanship" under the "out of warranty" section, so it sounds like they all provide the same type of warranty.

Hi, thanks for your response! I'm actually also in Australia and I have recently received an Emilya Halo from Victor. I think I'll end up doing the same and send it back to Victor every few years as I don't trust the local jewelers but I'm worried about insurance and dealing with customs.

Hi, thanks for your response! Dealing with customs is my biggest worry as well, this could be a good excuse to visit LA! :naughty:

I have rings from all 3 jewelers. I also recently lost the majority of my baby weight so my rings that were all sized between a 6 to a 6.5 I had locally sized at a good jewelry who I have used before with great success and size them all down to a 5.75 with no issues. honestly warrantys just aren't practically for me since I leave no where near them and shipping across the country and now overseas is just silly to me. Waste of money plus I don't have that much faith in the mail system.
