I''m currently looking at two diamonds that the jeweler (from PS) says look identical, however one is slightly more $$$. I was wondering, if given the following info, you can lend me any advise as to which diamond may be worth more or should they be the same amount and why?
Both are the practically the same size both Carat and dimensions and have the same Clarity and Color ratings.

Diamond A
HCA - 1.8
AGA - 1A
Idealscope image enclosed

Diamonde B
HCA - 1.2
AGA - 1B
Idealscope image enclosed

I''ve been reading up on the idealscope, and to me the images look practically identical, am I missing something, or are they that close? Also, to me these images look fantastic, but I would like some expert advice. Please let me know what you think as I''m about to finalize my decision. Thanks for the help, This website ROCKS! Literally!

For some reason I can''t attach the idealscope images however the two diamonds I''m inquiring about are at James Allen .81 (6981771) and .83 (8448850) and he has the idealscope images posted on his website. He seems very reputable amoung PS users and also has the setting that I''m looking for. Both are "eye clean".

Monte, welcome to the forum.

both 1.2 and 1.8 HCA scores are great. Pictures you attached are not visible, unfortunately. You have to attach one image per post. Please try to re-post them and give a bit more info on these stones

Thanks again for your help!

One more note about these diamonds...I thought that Diamond A was an AGA - 1A, but after researching more about girdle thickness (.7-2.2) it came back a 1B. I appreciate any and all posts!

Monte, personally I think both idealscopes look great! Sizes are similar, stats seem to me almost like splitting hairs. If I had to pick between the two, I''d go with the cheapest one!

Thanks for the response! If anybody has any further advice, please help as I will be making a decision today.
