I drew up various oval ratio''s to determine which one I thought looked best. I''m sure there is something similar online but I figured I''d post it in case it could be of use to a fellow PS member. The ratios are as follows (from left to right):
1.25 1.30 1.35 1.40 1.45 1.50 1.55 1.60
That is very helpful Matt, it will definitely assist PS members who are searching for oval shapes... There is a really cool tool on the web site of David Atlas who goes by Old Miner here on PS which is a Shape Picker Tool which will provide a visual reference for most fancy shape diamonds. All you need to do is click on the desired shape at the top of the graphic and then adjust the settings to match the measurements of the diamond being considered and the program will produce a graphic reference to those measurements. Perhaps Andrey and David could come to some sort of an agreement to add the Shape Picker Tool to Price Scope, it would definitely make it easier for people to get an idea of the outline of the fancy shape diamonds that they might be considering.
