Oval Polish/Symmetry?

Hi,

New here... I am searching for an oval and have a couple in mind from reputable online dealers noted on the forums.

I've got a couple diamonds in mind in the 2ct range - both with similar depth/table and L/W ratio, but polish/symmetry is different. One is Good/Good and one VG/VG, but the latter is priced less. What other factors should I be looking at, I've seen the first with Good/Good polish and symmetry and it has some great fire/sparkle but wonder if I should hold out for the other (which I'd have to purchase fully and have brought in to see in person, which I'm hesitant unless that is normal process where returns are normal if it isn't the right one for me).

Any help is appreciated, sorry for the newbie questions.

Thanks!

You should go with the one that looks better to you, don't let the finish grades deter you.

Only deal with places that let you return.

Hi

The similar depth/table and l/w ratio is good how about color/clarity and Fluo? are they similar in both the stones? if yes than
it is wise to go with lesser priced stone, however their are several reasons for price to differ, if one of the stone has center
inclusion it can reduce the price even though both have same clarity.

Whichever online store you opt to buy please ensure return policy to be 30 days intact and free return shipping, there are some
online stores offering free return shipping, in that case you can order both the stones and see it in person together, return the one
you do not like and keep the one you like, without incurring return shipping cost, if this option works for you than nothing like it.

sticking with stones with 1.33 length to width ratio is typically preferred for ovals.
