I just received pics of a 1.11 F SI1 that we're considering. I'm told by WF that it is eye-clean and is a very nice looking stone, very sparkly. They also said the bowtie is minimal. I know that the best way to judge a fancy cut is to eyeball it in person, but unfortunately, I do not have that luxury. I'll post the ASET and IS; I can't post a pic of the actual stone because it's too big (the pic file, not the stone) and I have no way to resize it here at work. Same with the Sarin. I'll post them both later.

I think everything looks pretty good, but I'd like to know everyone else's opinion too.

It looks promising, it would be good if you could post the pic of the actual diamond when you get home. Is it GIA graded? What is the WF verdict on any visible bow tie?

I just edited my first post to comment on the bowtie--it''s minimal. It is GIA graded.

Measurements: 7.84 x 5.92 x 3.5mm
Depth: 59.1%
Table: 59%
Girdle: Thick to Very thick
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Good
Cutlet: None
Fluorescence: None

I''ll post the pic and the Sarin tonight.

Here is a picture of the diamond. It appears to have been taken at a slight angle instead of head-on. I have requested an additional picture that shows the inclusions.

Here''s the SARIN.

I''m not loving the ASET image lots of black and little red.
IS and regular picture also show a lot of leakage.

Thanks Snicker. It is hard to tell from the pics, but I am not superkeen on this one, but I haven't seen the actual diamond, are there any others you are interested in?

Here''s another one. The GIA, IS, and ASET are all in this link. I''m concerned about the inclusions--it''s an SI2 with twinning wisps. I''ve heard differing opinions on this type of inclusion.

I prefer this one, as to the twinning wisps, WF will be able to advise you if they are an issue and if the diamond is eyeclean to your standards.

ditto

Thanks for your help! I just sent an email inquiring about the inclusions and bowtie. Hopefully it''ll come back with good news!

I''ll keep everyone posted.

Not sure if this would nuke the budget, but I''ve seen this little guy and it''s a winner.

Only reason I didn''t buy it was because I was looking for a little larger. I saw no bowtie, but of course you should judge for yourself. I''ve got the IS and a pic.

P.S. It''s also listed on whiteflash.
