Oval Ideal scope

What do you think of these Ovals?
And what should I be looking at?

First is a 1.15 E VS1 Depth: 64.0% Table: 57% L/W: 1.37

Second is a 1.22 F VS1 Depth: 60.7% Table: 59% L/W: 1.36

I do but they look all stupid on my computer unless I open them with quicktime. Couldn''t tell you why. Lets give it a try, same order.

They seriously look like Rounds when I try to open them.

You did a good job sizing the pics!

Out of the two actual diamond images, the first one appeals to me the most. I would ask the vendor whether either of these show a noticeable bow tie and also see if they can send some more pics of the diamonds. Do you have a preference?

Second diamond has better cut Design for Oval shape. ( 4 main pavilion facets instead 6 )
It could reduce BowTie phenomena

The second looks to my untrained eye to have less of a bowtie, so I''d go for that one.

Blackhawk, I was thinking, could you get ASET images for these diamonds instead of Idealscope? That would tell us much more.

An ASET ain''t gonna happen, these puppies along with a 1.2 F VS2 buddy are on their way to an appraiser, I get to see them next week! I guess I just wanted to know if anything jumped out and what I should look for.

Shame, that would tell you a LOT about how they are going to look. In the end with Fancies you will have to let your eyes do the talking.

Well I went and saw them yesterday. The 1.2 F VS2(not pictured) had a huge bowtie

The other two, the ones that I posted pics of........They were amazing no bowtie at all. I had to get the scope up to 25X before I could see the inclusions, the appraiser saw them with the loupe after a little effort. For ovals these two knocked my socks off visually. They are beauties. After a bit of internal debate I went with the 1.22 it was more expensive, but noticeably bigger really the only difference I saw. If anyone is looking for an 1.15ish E VS1 the one in this thread would be a good choice.
