Good morning, @YadaYadaYada
We put ours up before Thanksgiving. They're multi-colored, not just red and green for example, so I don't see why they shouldn't be celebratory for Thanksgiving as well! We have different decos for Halloween, but take those down right after, and put up the 'holiday season' lights. We've still got pumpkins and turkeys around the place - they'll stay up until the weekend afterThanksgiving. But on the Saturday immediately after, we go full swing into Christmas!
I wanted to add one more 'window photo' from my family room. It's just from the other direction, but this is the view I get every morning when I walk out of my bedroom to get my breakfast and say good morning to my dogs.
I absolutely love it - it's just so sunny and restful.
