Very beautiful, our trees are already mostly bare

Beautiful @YadaYadaYada Love the fall colors in New England! It’s dark here so no photo.

Wow already @Cluless! Our trees still have a ways to go as you can see, we may still be raking in December!

@Slick1, I know I posted this later than I wanted, feel free to snap a pic during the week if you have a chance. Monday and Tuesday are supposed to be really nice.

@YadaYadaYadal no we shovel in December over here lol
Was a glorious day out today so we went out back and raked up the leaves !

Love this idea for a thread. If any of you belong to FB there is a FB group that is devoted to just this. The view outside one's window.

Here's my view right now.

Good morning all and happy Monday.

Wow @missy look at those colors, that’s a great start to the week!

@Slick1 I love your Chase statue and how that little bird is keeping him company.

Lovely colors everyone! I'm in FL as you guys probably know...we unfortunately dont get the color change down here. I'm really jealous!

Enjoy it!

Our Japanese maple is alive with color out my front window today

The Sandia Mountains are glowing right now. They are made of granite and limestone. That color is not snow!

Kinda reminds me of an opal.

We don't seem to have any of those colours here in the UK - the leaves just go brown and fall off into a squishy brown mush  lol

@OoohShiny, believe me when I tell you that fall in New England is probably the best part of living here. When you take into consideration the high COL and taxes, those are some pretty expensive leaves

All of you who have posted this far have such beautiful outdoor space! I live in a tract home in california where houses are within sneezing distance of each other. I can stick my arms out and high five my next door neighbors. At least we are experience beautiful clear sunny skies after 2 weeks of smoke and a weekend of rain and hail. Here is my view from my home office window.A5626191-B8F9-4572-8034-A8EF3E1A29FC.jpeg

I used to have a Japanese maple when I lived in PA.... they are so beautiful!

@jaysonsmom, your neighborhood is so pretty and clean looking!

@stracci2000 our older son has climbed all the way to the top of that tree before! Probably the best part is when all the leaves fall so it’s like a bright red carpet across our front yard.

@GliderPoss, I’ll take heading into summer over heading into winter any day.

View out our front door window overnight. Caught by one of the security cameras. Oh that expression is priceless. Oops. Caught red handed.

Aw so cute @missy and a great shot, like he knew the camera was there!

Outside our kitchen window. Signs of autumn. I’m weird in that I love bare trees. Something romantic about them. And haunting too. As they go from bright and beautiful and bold to stark and bare and free.

This photo is from our ride yesterday. Leaves are almost gone from the trees and I find it hauntingly breathtaking. And I love the path of leaves at our feet.

I love this thread!

One out my living room window; so clean and clear in MA this morning!

One out the sliding door / windows in my family room:

And two out my 2 bedroom windows. The first one doesn't look like much, but it's actually a flowering peach blossom that Tim planted for me when we moved here. It's covered in the most gorgeous, sweet smelling blossoms in spring and is a highlight of the year for me.

And can I just say...we put our outdoors Christmas lights up on the weekend!

@missy, such pretty views!

@mrs-b, I love your wreaths but all of your views are beautiful and yes to Christmas lights, can’t get them up soon enough this year!
