Our ring is complete - thank you to all here for the help!

Last winter several pricescopers helped us sort through diamonds and styles. We got lots of great advice and ended up choosing an oval through GOG.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone - we got engaged with a custom setting this week and appreciate all the help we got here. And finally...pics!

I only have these camera phone photos close up at the moment, but David at GOG found us a really beautiful 1.5 carat G VS1 oval. The half moons on the side are a little less than a carat I believe. For reference, my finger is about a 6. Under most light the oval's belly lights up instead of bow ties. These don't do it justice - I'll try to post pro pics when we have them.

Thank you, TrailBlazer! Looks really pretty with gorgeous detail. I think ovals are so elegant and the half-moons frame the center very well.
