Wedding Our newspaper engagement photo

Our photographer has to retouch this a bit, but this is what we have chosen for our "big city" newspaper engagement announcements.

We are going to use a more arty photo by FacetFire for my parents' local newspaper, where print space is much cheaper so we can really show off a cool photo. Once I get the digital proofs from her I will share that with you all as well. She is an amazing photographer and we are so thrilled with her work.

Thanks everyone! I remember being a little girl, browsing through the engagement and wedding announcements in the local paper and dreaming about being married someday. It will be so cool that I will be in there, now!

Thank you everyone for the lovely compliments! That is one of the first pics from our session in the rain, believe it or not

Oh, my shirt is from Anthropologie! It''s really versatile - I love wearing it under jackets, but now that the weather is warm I''ve been wearing it on its own (it''s a tank). It''s actually quite funny - I first tried it on at the NYC Anthropologie right after I attended a board meeting; I was in kind of a daze and for some reason thought it was $65. So I took it to the register and it came up something like $240! I looked at the tag, and sure enough. So I decided to pass on it, but in the weeks that followed I kept wishing I had bought it! I ended up getting it at the DC Anthropologie a couple of weeks ago

Totally worth it!
