We got our engagement pictures done a couple of weeks ago and we are absolutely thrilled with how they turned out. We spent a LONG time trying to find a photographer within our budget that we were also very happy with.

We ended up taking some money out of the budget elsewhere to move into the photography fund because we heard from everyone how important photography was. We found this amazing couple who has their own photography business and we're in love with them

It was such a fun shoot and we can't wait to have them at our wedding!

LOVE the pics! We also ended up spending more on photography then we had originally budgeted for, but I feel it is sooo important to use someone you trust and love the work of. When the day is over and done with, the pictures are one of the only things you have left!

This is really interesting - I love the pics but have never honestly heard of doing engagement photos! Maybe it's just not common in Australia. Seriously folks- never ever heard of it

everyone here in the US pretty much does them...for the most part at least.

I think it's actually a minority subset. In certain circles, most everyone does them, but there are a whole lot of people here in the US who would have no clue HotPozzum!

I got the same confused look when I told someone I was doing a signature drink. I thought everyone had those nowadays...but I was quickly informed otherwise!

Just wanted to comment on engagement photos in general. In our circles no has heard of them let alone does them LOL. So I definitely think it depends on your social circles as well as where you live. Love the idea but even if I had heard of them when we got engaged we probably would have passed. We didn't even have a videographer at our wedding and our friend took our wedding pictures.
