I thought I posted a response last night, but I don''t see it. Anyhow, I''d actually love to see MORE pictures! All the pro shots you posted are just gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! And you, in particular, are just gorgeous. No one would ever know you''re uncomfortable in front of the camera.

I''m actually from the Bay Area (and a LIW), so I''m definitely keeping mental notes about your in-laws'' for future reference.

Did your photographer do the actual announcement cards for you or did you go through another vendor? I would love to do something like this!

thanks karasue. the are photos pretty much done, but the photographers are organizing them for us. I''ll post them whenever they send us the link to the online gallery.

I sat for a bad photographer before, and was quite traumatized by the experience (he asked me to "look sexy and sultry" so I did my best. He was like, "no no. now you just look sad")!! So Alena, Lena and Alex had to reverse all that damage and insecurity. Haha. Let me know if you have any questions.

shannon - it was all Alena''s idea. She asked if I wanted to make thank you or announcement cards, and she offered to make them for us. Usually she & Alex take the photos, they edit, design the cards and then I think they send them to a professional printer that that they work with. You can contact them through their website and maybe they can help you.

sailorsSweet<3 thank you. I was telling Alena about how much everyone loves the confetti photo. I think I was so pooped by the end of the reception that I was actually napping in some of the grass photos. I know, totally embarrassing. I swear I wasn''t even drunk. Alena says there are more, and she thinks it''s one of those shots that you cannot recreate because, well, have you ever met a bride who lay down on the grass to rest after her wedding? I love how they captured it.

It''s nuts how it all came together in one magical shot, because all the elements were totally unposed (except for DH. The only direction they gave was "Lie down next to her" and I think the way he did it was so awesome). DH''s cousin had been throwing confetti on everyone, all over the place (haha...yes, DH''s 30 year old cousin. Where did he get confetti?!!)

Wow... these are such beautiful photos! I absolutely love love love the one where you two are lying in the grass with the confetti. That is such an amazing shot. Congratulations!
