I can''t express how lucky we were to have such wonderful photographers. I went through a phase where I was REALLY uncomfortable in front of the camera, and felt like I was the most un-photogenic person in the world. But our photographers (also CrownHusband''s brother and sister-in-law...now MY brother-in-law and sister-in-law!) made us both feel so much better in front of the camera. We had three photographers: Alena Zhukova, Aleksey Bochkovsky (both from SF Bay Area in CA), and Yelena Bleiman (from Florida).

They designed an announcement card for us, with photos from our wedding. It''s so beautiful that I had to share.

the shot of us lying in the grass was at the very end of the reception. I was so pooped that I just took off my shoes, then sat down, then thought, "what the hell...I''ll just get the dress dry cleaned," and lay down right there. The photographers took advantage of the situation and made CrownHusband lay down too. CrownHusband''s cousin had been throwing confetti all over the place and he started throwing confetti on us. It made for a very beautiful photo.

I''m trying not to think of those photos as me and CrownHusband - more like they are just photos of a random couple taken by really talented people.

It''s kinda weird sharing photos of ourselves! Anyone else feel like this? It''s like I wanna share...but I also don''t wanna. But I do.

Thank you diamondfan, stephanie, lliang, clop!! I''m actually glad now, that we had a wedding. We were considering having just a small dinner, or just going to city hall. We probably could have just gotten dressed up and had fun pictures anyway, but you know, when we look at these photos all the memories of the day come back and we can tell a little background story about each shot.

So I take back all the nasty feelings I had about the agony of planning a wedding. I''m really grateful that we had one.

I''m definitely not comfortable in front of the camera (sort of like Chandler in Friends when he did the photoshoot with Monica) and wish that I can look 30% as comfortable as you from the shots you posted! GoodSoul - my prescription for looking comfortable in front of the camera is: find photographer(s) that have a great personality and are good at making people feel relaxed, drink wine, drink champagne, have your best friends with you, drink champagne, be silly, drink more champagne thanks for your compliments. i''m still uncomfortable in front of the camera but the photographers knew that and they also knew how to get me to relax. We also had another photo shoot with them back in January, so they knew how shy we really are. My hair was done by Stacy Pitt in NYC, and makeup was done by Sally Duvall. I know I''ve said it before, but they seriously transformed me. I can''t post a "before" picture because I look horrible without makeup, but trust me - if you want to look beautiful - get them on your team! Haha...I should ask them to pay me for these reviews. In all seriousness, I also felt more comfortable because I felt pretty - thanks to Stacy, Sally and Dora (my dress). Oh and the husband helped too!
